Dr. Jane Hoashi, MD – Orthopedic Specialist, Medical Director
As an orthopedic physician, Dr. Jane Hoashi treats all types of medical issues, including acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries as well as osteoarthritis in the joints. She treats patients of all ages and all types of musculoskeletal injuries from sprains, fractures, and spine-related injuries and pathologies. She also performs ultrasound-guided injections, including large joint injections for osteoarthritic joints. Dr. Hoashi accepts multiple insurance plans as well as BWC and Personal Injury.
Dr. Hoashi earned her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, and her graduate degree from Yale University, School of Public Health. Dr. Hoashi went on to earn her medical degree from the Universidad de Navarra School of Medicine in Pamplona, Spain. She completed her residency training in Orthopedic Surgery at the Hospital General De Castellon and worked as an orthopedic surgeon at the Hospital General Universitario de Alicante in Alicante, Spain.
Upon returning to the United States, Dr. Hoashi completed fellowships in Pediatric Spine Surgery at Shriners Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA, an International Spine Fellowship at the New York University Hospital for Joint Diseases, and a Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Dr. Hoashi is a native of California and has been active in the Cleveland medical community since 2013. She has written numerous publications and presented numerous topics at international orthopedic conferences. After spending over 14 years in Spain, Dr. Hoashi speaks fluent Spanish. In addition to English and Spanish, Dr. Hoashi also supports the Valencian and Catalan languages. During her downtime, Dr. Hoashi likes to travel and enjoys physical fitness including yoga and the music scene in Cleveland.
Dr. Matthew Meehan – Chiropractic Physician
Dr. Matthew Meehan graduated from Lowellville High School in 2002, then went on to study Biology at Youngstown State University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Bachelor’s Degree.
It was during his studies at YSU that he chose to focus on Chiropractic. Dr. Meehan traveled to the birthplace of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa, and studied at the famed Palmer College of Chiropractic where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2010.
While there, Dr. Meehan learned even more about the anatomy and physiology of the human body. He was fascinated to learn about the changes he could make in a patient’s life simply by using his hands. “Our society focuses on taking pills to be well, but there is no pill for wellness.”
Idan Zarbailov – Physician Assistant
Idan Zarbailov grew up in the city of Mayfield Heights and graduated from Mayfield High School in 2014. He then continued his education at Cleveland State University to achieve his Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science in 2017.
He always knew that he was meant to help others through medicine so becoming a medical provider became his top priority. He then graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with his Master’s Degree as a Physician Assistant in 2020.
Orthopedics was always his field of interest as he wanted to master the musculoskeletal system so he could help ensure his patients got back on their feet and enjoy their everyday life and activities.
Having worked in several different settings including an outpatient pain management clinic, an Orthopedic floor at a hospital, and an outpatient orthopedic surgery center, he has seen many of the ins and outs of the field and is ready to give the best quality care to all our patients here at Core Medical Group.
